The site, available at www.aaeesit.com, is a community-driven site created by the alumni association of the École supérieure d’interprètes et de traducteurs (hereafter referred to as “AAE-ESIT”) to allow ESIT graduates to stay in touch, promote their studies, and boost career opportunities for themselves and future graduates.

- The user must be an ESIT graduate, and provide a valid email address and date of birth in order to activate his or her account and gain full access to the site.
- Anonymous users can access the site and consult articles and public events, but they cannot see full profiles, post comments, or participate in discussions.
- The user shall not use a username or email address that could infringe upon the rights of a third party, such as a surname or a brand name, nor use the name, company name or trademark of another person or entity.
- Text, software, images, videos, databases and all other content on this site are protected by copyright laws. The user agrees to not reproduce any of this content unless AAE-ESIT expressly grants consent.
- By using the AAE-ESIT site, the user guarantees that he or she has the necessary rights, including all intellectual property rights, to the testimonials, comments, images and data of any nature that he or she shares on this site, allowing him or her to grant us these rights.
- You can sign up to the site for free simply by activating a graduate account. By signing up, you accept these terms and conditions.
- Every member of the site is responsible for his or her personal account, which is attributed to him or her from the account activation date. It is the responsibility of the member to keep the account confidential, and not let anyone else have access. All actions undertaken through this account are recorded and may be used in the event of a dispute.
- AAE-ESIT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse access to the site www.aaeesit.com to anyone who may harm the image of the network.
Terms of use:
- Testimonials and comments should be written in French where possible, so that they may be understood by as much of the community of members and francophone users as possible. If this is not the case, the moderator reserves the right to translate the text in question — that is, if another member or visitor has not already done so.
- Please give your testimonial a clear title that corresponds to its content to make it easier to read on the site. Please also specify the geographical location. These simple details, along with your stories or feelings, will add real value to your network.
- You may not post messages that are insulting, offensive, obscene, defamatory, or which violate the rights of any other person. You may not post messages that are pornographic, paedophilic, or otherwise unlawful, or incite violence or racism. You may not post messages for the purposes of propaganda, or for commercial or political purposes.
- The moderator shall not intervene in messages in a way that can change their meaning. The moderator reserves the right, however, to move them if there is an obvious error in their classification by subject.
- Users can signal problematic messages to the moderator. The moderator can delete, without warning, all messages that do not respect the previously cited conditions.
- The moderator can ban any user from the community of members should they abuse their freedom of expression by posting systematic and non-objective criticism, extreme publications that threaten the positive atmosphere of the site, spam, or any unlawful content.
- AAE-ESIT agrees to take special care regarding the veracity of information exchanged on this site and update it regularly. However, errors or omissions can still occur. Please inform us of any errors that you find, so that we may carry out the necessary corrections.
